We took a leisurely drive to Phoenix, stopping at Red Rock State Park along the way. It is just outside Sedona, where we stayed, and the name of the park says it all. Similar to Slide Park, it has a creek running along the bottom (same one as at the bottom of our hotel) and people got there to swim and sunbathe. It is all very well laid out and not commercialised at all. The people in the picture were some Japanese kids who couldn't stop falling over as they tried to make their way to the other side of the creek.Stopped for about an hour and then made our way to Phoenix.
